Trip Introduction

EBC with Gokyo Lake Trek; also known as Cho La Pass Trek. It is one of the most adventurous and challenging treks in the Everest Himalayas. The trek follows the Base Camp route, passing through the vibrant town of Namche Bazaar. Also the spectacular site of Tyangboche where a magnificent monastery sits amidst a snow capped mountain panorama. After reaching Everest Base Camp and soaking up the icy wilderness sanctuary, the route takes you to the summit of Kala Patthar. It’s a spectacular viewpoint to appreciate Everest in all her glory.

You will be truly amazed by the vistas from here, mountains as far as the eye can see, covered in a blanket of snow. We then leave the base camp trekkers behind and head out to conquer the Cho La Pass at 5330 meters. Steep inclines and rocky path awaits for you but your efforts will be reward as you walk through a magnificent high altitude mountain pass. If this was not enough, we then carry on further to the glistening waters of the Gokyo lake. A system of fresh water and sacred lakes, hidden in the high Himalaya.

EBC with Gokyo Lake Trek really has it all, high altitude trekking, spectacular views insurmountable anywhere else in the world. - Arrival in kathmandu
  
  On this day you will be landed at the Capital City of Nepal-Kathmandu (1300m/4265 ft). It is the only International Airport of Nepal. You will be received by Sherpa Himalaya Representative.
  
  Then with a brief introduction you will be welcomed by flower Garland. You will be Taken to your Hotel where you can rest and freshen up to keep away Jet Lag. You will get a nearby location map from hotel reception and you can explore around.

- Day 02
- Trek Preparation day in kathmandu
  
  Today you will also be introduced to your respective Guide for Everest Base Camp with Gokyo Lake Trek. If you have anything to buy for your trek then you can purchase from the stores around. In the evening you will have to pack only the necessary and important items that you need during the Trek and rest you can either store at Hotel or with Sherpa Himalaya.
  
  We recommend you to use company Duffel bag as there will be less chance of misplace in airport and easier to find in case of missing.

- Day 03
- Kathmandu to Lukla Flight and Trek to Phakding
  
  Today you will need to wake up early in the morning. You will be notified by Sherpa Himalaya about the time. You will be received by a private vehicle and dropped to Airport together with the Guide. You will have very amazing Flight to Lukla from Kathmandu. You will witness very beautiful villages and Aerial view of Himalayan ranges around. With clear weather you will have clear idea about the Landscape of Hilly and Himalayan region.
  
  As you arrive Lukla, we will take a short Rest and have breakfast or lunch according to the time of Arrival. After that you will start your Everest Base Camp Trek trail to Phakdhing. It will Take around 2-3 Hours of Trek. You will make your overnight Stay here.
  
  Phakdhing is Elevated at 2610m/ 8562 ft. Before you arrive to Phakdhing the trail will be normal with some steep downhill and with normal uphill Trek. You will also have first sight of Mountain Kusum Khangguru (6,369m) from Thado Koshi which is at height of 2580m.

- Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazzar
  
  After a very comfortable stay at Phakdhing, we will climb up towards Namche Bazaar (3440 m/11,280 feet), Namche Bazar is a small town in Himalaya which used to be very famous trade center.
  
  People used to get things from Tibet and sell making the main market point Namche. You will have plenty of Hotel and souvenir shops. You can also get option to buy any Trekking gears and necessary clothes you might need in case you missed any from Kathmandu or Luka.
  
  During your ascend to Namche Bazar you will encounter 5 Bridges to cross. This moment will also be one of the memorable. This Day will be bit harder than the previous Day. You will face normal uphill walk as well as steep uphill. With recent updates the trails are made more proper and easier.

- Acclimatazation Day In Namche Bazzar
  
  Acclimatization is an Extra Day where you will be introduced to a new elevation but the overnight will be at same spot. It is done so to keep your body familiar with the new environment and to escape from Altitude sickness..
  
  Acclimatization Day will play vital role to prevent you from Altitude sickness. This Day we will Hike up to Everest View Hotel which has an elevation of (3880m / 12729 ft.) It is also listed in UNESCO world Heritage site.
  
  You will encounter amazing panoramic view of Everest Region. Some of the popular Mountains are Mt. Lhotse, Mt Everest, Mt. Amadablam, Mt. Nuptse and Mt. Kongde etc and many more.
  
  We will return back to Namche for the lunch and after Lunch you will have a free day and can explore the local place.

- Namche To Tengboche (3860m)
  
  After the breakfast we will towards Tenboche. It will take 5-6 Hours of continuous Trek. A big Buddhist Monastery lie here in Tengboche.
  
  Tengboche Monastery is one of the most famous and Highly devoted monastery in Khumbhu Region. This Monastery lie in the Lap of Mt. Amadablam.
  
  Tengboche monastery is also considered as one of the most peaceful location on the trail. Meditation at this location can be one of the best decision.

- Day 07
- Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4,410 m/ 14469 ft), 5 – 6 hours
  
  After breakfast as usual we will head towards Dingboche. Today the trek will be easy. We will have to trek for 4-5 hours. Dinboche is a small village located on the lap of Mountains. As you trek higher and the altitude starts increasing you will witness less Trees.
  
  It is also known as the last Sherpa Village of Khumbu

- Day 08
- Acclimatazation day in Dingboche
  
  Today will be a acclimatization day. We will explore the local Sherpa village and also hike nearby hills. This day can be well utilized by knowing about Sherpa people, their culture and tradition.
- Day 09
- Dingboche toLobuche (4910m) 5– 6 hours
  
  As similar to other day after breakfast we will Trek towards Lobuche (4,910 m). This Day we will have gradual upslope with normal Trail until you reach Thukla 4620m. As we reach Thukla we will have steep climb upward and reach Lobuche.
  
  This Day you will also be introduced to memorial spot of Climbers and Sherpa who passed away on Everest Expedition.
  
  The memorial spot has made many travelers emotional. Expressing condolence to the brave people we will start our Trek further to Lobuche.
  
  Overnight at Lobuche
- Day 10
- Trek from Lobuche to Gorak Shep [5170 m]-Everest Base Camp [5364 m]-Gorak Shep, 7 –8 hours
  
  Today is the day that you will reach Everest Base Camp. After early breakfast we will climb towards Gorak Shep. After few hours of uphill climb we will reach Gorak Shep ( 5164 m).
  
  We will have lunch at Gorak Shep and then Make our Everest Base Camp Trek successful by making a Trek for 2 hours to reach the base of Everest (5364 m). We will spend some time at the base camp and share this beautiful moment together, Capture our memories which will be the proof of our arrival. Similarly, we will return back to Gorakshep and overnight stay here and be ready to make Chola Pass to reach a beautiful destination Gokyo Lake.

- Trek from Gorakshep To Zhongla (4200m)
  
  Today we will head towards the west ridge which will lead to Zhongla. Zhongla is a small vilage with few Tea House. It will take 4-5 hours to reach here.
  
  As we reach Zhongla we will take proper rest and get prepare for the Chola Pass which will be quit hard.

- Trek from Zhongla to Taknak (4680m) via Chola Pass
  
  Chola Pass Day
  
  We all know the best view comes after the hardest climb. Today is the Day for chola Pass. We will have to make hard rocky climb up.
  
  Taking snacks and chocolates with you is highly recommended. Without hurry we will climb in a group with Sherpa Himalaya Experienced guide. He will lead you all the way careful.
  
  You will witness some prayer flag at the summit of Chola Pass. Then we will descend down towards Taknak.

- Trek from Taknak to Gokyo Valley [5360m/17585 feet]
  
  This is our next final destination; the incredible Gokyo Valley. After 5-6 hours of normal walk we will arrive at Gokyo. We will come across Ngozumpa Glacier which is considered as one of the largest glacier of Nepal. Gokyo is a small village with big sacred lake at side.

- Trek from Gokyo to Dole [4150m]
  
  Today we will climb to Goyo-Ri. A perfect place to capture the landscape of the village, lake and the mountains. This point and the landscape you see from here can take your breath away, make sure you take your camera with you to take this incredible memory with you. You will witness amazing view of Mt. Cho Oyu from the view point.
  
  After the beautiful time in the Gokyo Ri we will descend back to Gokyo Valley and start our trek towards Dole.

- Dole to Namche Bazzar [3440 m/11,280 feet]
  
  Today we will descend down slowly enjoying the nature and villages around. A good picture with combination of Vilalger, villages and mountains can be captured.
  
  After few hours of continuous walk down we will reach to the location where we had our first Acclimatization stay[Namche Bazaar].

- Day 16
- Trek from Namche to Lukla [2800m]
  
  Trekking down from the same trail we made earlier, we be at Lukla. The trail down will be easier than earlier ascends.
  
  Today is the last day of your Three Pass Trek and meet with the staffs. After the last day meet and greet with the members we will prepare for our flight to Kathmandu tomorrow.

- Lukla to Kathmandu Fly back
  
  Today we will fly from Lukla to Kathmandu. You will be picked by Sherpa Himalaya representative and dropped to Hotel.
  
  After this beautiful and adventurousEverest Base Camp with Gokyo Lake Trek, you can have a proper rest at your hotel. A extra free day is programmed by Sherpa Himalaya. A free day is kept to recover if in case the flight gets delayed.
  
  On timely arrival to Kathmandu, you can use the free day as a day to explore and shop for your family or else you can also make short city tour.

- Free Day in Kathmandu
  
  As mentioned above this day is specially programmed to recover if the Lukla- Kathmandu flights gets delayed due uncertain change in weather.
  
  With timely arrival you can Explore the Thamel market and shop for your family. You can also make a short city tour to explore some World Heritage Site.
  
  You will be invited for Last farewell dinner with Sherpa Himalaya Executive.

- Final departure
  
  Today morning you Sherpa Himalaya representative will be there at your hotel for last meet. You will be dropped at airport considering airport time.
  
  Sherpa Himalaya will thank you for amazing time together and handover Buddhist Scarf (Kha-tak) which symbolizes peace, prosperity, Long life and Harmony to everyone and certificate for your completion of Everest Three Pass Trek with Sherpa Himalaya.
